Students from Industrial Design program, from the University of the Republic of San Marino and from the IUAV Design program, at the University of Venice have been working on projects which involve artisans and natural fibers. They have been working in Vietnam and Bangladesh, in a fair trade setting. The theme was called “Design Beyond the Borders of Development” and the results are a combination of traditional design and functional modern aesthetics.
